Every change, on the record

A reference database is not just numbers — it is the documented history of those numbers. Since 13 July 2026, every insert, update and delete on any published SkyMind value is captured automatically by an append-only database trigger: old value, new value, which loader changed it, and why. Loaders cannot bypass it. This page reads the same public ledger you can query yourself.

Trigger-enforced

The log is written by the database itself on every change — no loader, script or human can skip it.

Append-only

Entries are never edited or removed. A correction is a new entry, not a rewrite of history.

Openly queryable

The same data via GET /data/revisions — filter by family, metric or unit.

Loading the ledger…
A value can legitimately change: statistical agencies revise published figures, and our own corrections policy requires errors to be fixed openly rather than quietly. What never changes is the record of the change itself. Empty reason = the change was made by a loader that did not label it — such entries are flagged and reviewed.
