All of it is free.

Sourcing dozens of government portals, normalizing metrics and unifying geography across 47 countries is 6–12 months of an analyst's time. That work is done, and it costs you nothing: the map, every CSV pack, the full database and the live API. No payment, no card, no subscription.

Attribution is the only condition. Cite SkyMind and the original agency.

Domain and Country packs are versioned snapshots, dated on delivery. Data refreshes quarterly, or whenever a source publishes a new year — come back and re-download.
The licence
What you may do with it: everything, with credit
There is no internal-use restriction, no client-facing tier and no publication fee. Use it in your models, your product, your client reports, your paper, your article. We ask for one thing back — say where it came from, so a reader can check it.
How to cite

Attribution, in one line

Credit SkyMind and the publishing agency (Eurostat, Israel CBS, GASTAT, Qatar PSA, and so on) — their open licences require it, and it is what makes your figure checkable. A citable DOI and ready-made citation blocks are on the data page.

Or pull the live API
CSV packs are snapshots — they go stale. The API is always current: the same endpoints that power the map, refreshed quarterly, queryable per metric / country / year. One free self-serve key, the whole database behind it.

Done for you
Or have us answer the question
The data is free; our time is the one thing that is not infinite. If you need the answer rather than the spreadsheet, we turn the official data into a defensible brief — every figure traced to its source, every step reproducible. Transparent methodology, not a forecast.

FAQ
Common questions
Free as in… actually free?
Actually free. The map, every CSV pack, the full 47-country database and the live API. No card, no account, no trial that expires. There is no payment form anywhere on this site.
Then what's the catch?
Attribution. Cite SkyMind and the publishing agency behind the figure — that is what the agencies' own open licences require, and it is what lets your reader verify the number. Everything else — the methodology, the provenance chain, the revision log — is public precisely so you can check us rather than trust us.
Can I use it in client-facing work — reports, dashboards, publications?
Yes, including commercially and inside a paid product of your own. There is no internal-use restriction and no separate publication licence. Keep the attribution attached when you redistribute the data or a dataset derived from it.
Why give it away?
The underlying figures are public statistics — they belong to everyone already. What we add is the harmonization and the paper trail, and those are worth more when they are checked by many people than when they are sold to a few. Our tagline holds: the truth stays open.
Do the free datasets stay current?
Yes. Data refreshes quarterly, or whenever a source releases a new year; each pack is a dated snapshot, so re-download when you want the newest one. What changed between versions is documented in the public revision log.
CSV or API — which do I want?
Take a dataset if you want the full CSV to work with offline. Use the API if you want live, queryable, always-current access in your app or pipeline. Both are free; many people start with a dataset and add the API later.
Is this a forecast or a rating?
Neither. SkyMind is a descriptive dataset of official figures with a transparent, reproducible scoring methodology: it shows what the published statistics say and makes them comparable. It does not predict events or rate financial instruments. Full method at /methodology.
I'm at a university / a newsroom. Anything special I need to do?
No. There is nothing left to verify or apply for — students, teachers, researchers and journalists get exactly what everyone else gets, which is all of it. Cite SkyMind, and tell us if you publish something with it: we like reading it.
I think one of your numbers is wrong.
Then tell us and we will trace it in public. Every challenge and its resolution is published at /corrections, and confirmed errors are corrected through the revision log with a dated note.

Official figures only, made comparable and traceable to source — transparent and reproducible methodology, not a forecast. Underlying data belongs to the publishing agencies and is used under their open-data licenses.
